About Me
Before settling in Gig Harbor, Washington, I spent my early years hop-scotching around the world as the youngest in an Air Force family. The keystone to who I have become as a young professional, I was able to experience more of the world before I could get my learners-permit, than some ever have the opportunity to see.

I spent my first two years at the University of Washington following the pre-engineering academic pathway, convinced that I wanted to enter the engineering field. I was not alone in discovering that I wasn't quite cut out for the engineering lifestyle, preferring to focus on big picture ideas than the minutia of drafting and designing.
In my search for a home at UW, a rejection letter from the Human Centered Design and Engineering program pointed me towards Community, Environment, and Planning, insert cliche here, and CEP is where I found my place on campus.
Taking advantage of the individualized curriculum of CEP, I was able to combine my love of the natural environment, specifically fisheries, with a comprehensive education regarding how people live, interact, and think, and the intersection between built and natural environments.
